Granblue Fantasy: Relink has three farming spots that carry the entire progression arc:

• Assault Formation (Extreme difficulty) - the first real farming spot, unlocked after Veteran Skyfarer. Best for general currencies, mastery points, and feeding Siero's Transmutation.
• Slimepede / Slime Pit (Maniac difficulty) - the best all-round farm in the base game. Highest raw XP, Rupees, and mastery points per minute.
• Behemoth quest (late game) - the best spot for rare Curios that drop War Elemental+ and Supplementary Damage 5+.

In Endless Ragnarok, The Conflux becomes the primary source of endgame upgrade materials, but the three spots above remain relevant for leveling, currency, and sigil farming.

Early game: do not farm yet

The only side content worth doing during the main story is the first-clear of quest-counter missions that reward Crewmate Cards. Everything else can wait.

Assault Formation (Extreme) - first real farm

Assault Formation is the quest that turns the game from "story mode" into "farming game." It is found under the Extreme section of the quest counter and is unlocked as soon as you reach Veteran Skyfarer grade.

What it gives you:

• XP and mastery points in bulk - enough to push characters toward level 100.
• Rupee coins and Rupees for weapon upgrades and shop purchases.
• Machine units and high-level scraps - trade these at Siero for Knick-Knack Vouchers, which buy random high-tier sigils through Transmutation.
• Glitter Crystals (small through cluster) - these are meant to be sold for Rupees.

Slimepede / Slime Pit (Maniac) - best all-round farm

Once you unlock Maniac difficulty, Slimepede becomes the single best quest for raw gains per minute. It is dense with slime enemies that drop large amounts of XP, Rupees, and mastery points simultaneously.

Why Slimepede is the default farming loop:

• Highest raw XP per minute in the base game - reaching level 100 on any character becomes trivial.
• Highest Rupee income per minute, which funds weapon upgrades.
• Highest mastery points per minute, which lets you finish mastery trees and fund Overmastery rolls.

You do not need an optimal AFK setup to benefit. Even running Slimepede manually a few times will produce visible progress. Optimize the AFK loop only when you are pushing late-game min-maxing.

Behemoth quest (late game) - rare sigil farm

The Behemoth quest is the best spot for farming Curios that can yield the rarest sigils in the game: War Elemental+ and Supplementary Damage 5+. This is a long grind by design - the drop rate is low and the sigils are character-defining.

Why this matters: War Elemental and Supplementary Damage only come from Curios appraised by Zathba. They do not drop from quests directly and cannot be crafted. The Behemoth quest is the most reliable Curio source in the late game.

AFK / auto farming setup

Relink supports passive farming through the mission-repeat feature. Each quest can be set to repeat for up to 10 consecutive runs, and with the right settings the game will clear stages on its own while you do something else.

The basic setup:

1. Open settings, head to Gameplay, and set difficulty to Story.
2. Enable Full Assist mode. This lets the AI play your character as well as the party.
3. Pick a quest you can clear reliably on Story difficulty - Slimepede is the standard choice.
4. Set the quest to repeat 10 times.
5. Walk away. The game will run 10 clears and stop.

Early in the game, your party will not be geared enough to auto-farm reliably. Treat AFK farming as a mid-to-end game goal, not a starter strategy.

The base-game farming spots above do not become obsolete. Assault Formation and Slimepede remain the best sources of XP, Rupees, and mastery points. The Conflux is layered on top for endgame-specific materials.

Common farming mistakes

1. Grinding before Extreme. The time-to-reward ratio is terrible. Push the main story first.
2. Selling sigils and materials for Rupees. Trade them for Knick-Knack Vouchers instead - the voucher economy produces high-tier sigils.
3. Skipping Behemoth because the drop rate is low. War Elemental and Supplementary Damage only come from Curios. There is no shortcut.
4. Treating AFK farming as a starter strategy. It requires a geared party. Set it up as a mid-game goal.
