The Conflux Complete Guide

What is The Conflux?
The Conflux is Endless Ragnarok's new endgame mode. It's a procedurally generated dungeon with increasing difficulty floors, randomized boss encounters, and an aura system that buffs both enemies and your party. Clear floors of normal enemies, defeat mini-bosses, and conquer major bosses to progress deeper. Each floor has randomized modifiers that change the challenge.
The Conflux is the primary source of endgame materials, including Chaos Crystals used to upgrade weapons and crafting exclusive sigils. It's also the best way to farm for rare master trait materials.
How to Unlock The Conflux
To unlock The Conflux in Endless Ragnarok, you must:
- Complete the main story up to Chapter 9 (the new Endless Ragnarok chapter)
- Clear all Elite difficulty quests at least once
- Reach Player Rank 80
- Complete the side quest "Echoes of the Ragnarok" from the quest counter in Seedhollow
Once unlocked, The Conflux appears as a new portal in the central hub area. You can access it at any time from the quest counter or directly from the hub.
Conflux Mechanics
Floor Structure
Each floor in The Conflux has randomized enemies, objectives, and modifiers. There are three types of floors:
- Combat Floors - Clear waves of enemies. Standard format.
- Boss Floors - Defeat a major boss. Every 5th floor is a boss floor.
- Chaos Floors - Harder encounters with double modifiers. Every 10th floor.
Aura System
At the start of each floor, you choose one of three auras. Auras provide buffs and debuffs that persist for the remainder of your run. Some auras are character-specific, others are universal. Stacking synergistic auras is key to deep runs.
Boss Encounters
Major Bosses (Floors 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, ...)
- Floor 5: Griffon King - Medium difficulty, introduces boss mechanics
- Floor 10: Luminiera Omega - First major test. AoE light attacks, dodge timing critical
- Floor 15: Tiamat Omega - Wind-based area denial, requires good positioning
- Floor 20: Colossus Omega - Massive HP pool, DPS check
- Floor 25: Yggdrasil Omega - Healing and debuffs, bring cleanse
- Floor 30+: Chaos variants of all bosses with enhanced movesets

Optimization Tips
- Build for sustain - Deeper floors have harder enemies. Bring healing or drain sigils.
- Stack auras wisely - Don't spread your auras too thin. Focus on 2-3 synergistic auras.
- Use S-tier characters - Beatrix, Gallanza, Siegfried, and Charlotta perform best in Chaos floors.
- Farm Floor 25 - Floor 25 Yggdrasil Omega is the most efficient farming spot for Chaos Crystals pre-30.
- Team composition matters - Bring one tank, one support, and two DPS for balanced runs.
Conflux portal types and routing
Conflux runs are easiest when you understand the color language. Red Strife rooms are combat checks, yellow Dexterity rooms are usually faster objective rooms, green Limbo rooms are build-crafting stops, purple rooms are boss arenas, and gray exits let you leave safely after a boss if the run is turning bad.

Best aura priorities for stable clears
Damage-focused auras such as Damage Cap, attack, crit damage, and strong chaos effects usually speed up clears, but the best aura is the one that solves your current failure point. If bosses are timing out, take damage. If your AI party dies, take defensive or sustain tools. Challenge auras can be powerful, but only accept them when the debuff will not sabotage the next few rooms.
Conflux farming plan for underpowered players
- Run lower-tier Conflux until your main build feels safe.
- Spend rewards on one main and three AI companions, not every character.
- Target reward chests based on your bottleneck: weapon upgrades, sigil resources, or rare endgame materials.
- Use resonance or permanent upgrades outside the Conflux before pushing higher tiers.
- Move into Chaos quests only after your party can survive boss rooms consistently.
